This Italian made multFX unit sports an 18bit/44.1kHz range of excellent set of reverb presets and a lovely set of resonators. Visconti has a long tradition as a manufacturer of musical instrument and is also the company that gave us the OB12, like or dislike it’s a gorgeous looking synth.
The impulse responses are made from the reverb and resonator presets of the GammaVerb and while the halls and plates provides nice grainy digital lo-fi feels the non-linear and virtual presets are probably the most interesting. The virtual spaces are especially interesting as they’re essentially room models from very small cubicles to large lecture halls and the balance between the of early reflections and decay make them react nicely with almost any material.
The Gamma also has some modulation presets but as those doesn’t transition well to convolutions I’ve stuck to the verbs.
